Pio’s Palace Museums consist of the Palace Museum and the City
Museum.
The Palace Museum is dedicated to art and the history of the Pio’s Palace
and the court of the Renaissance. Here is located the core of the museum’s
collection: the paintings, the woodcuts, the antique woods, the decorated
pottery. The City Museum develops the history of the Carpi territory, the
birth and the development of the city, from the very first villages of the
Bronze Age, to the Twentieth century, tracing the environmental, social,
economical, cultural and urban growth.
