On the occasion of International Women's Day, the Pro Loco Santarcangelo di Romagna invites the public to be surprised by an event that combines myth, theatre and music in an intense and unconventional tale.

On Sunday 8 March 2026 at 4.30 p.m., in the evocative setting of the Celletta Zampeschi, "Baubo - la dea sporcacciona" (Baubo - the dirty goddess) will be staged, a scenic reading set to music by Lucie Ferrini and Alex Magnani, with the participation of Nicoletta Mazza.

The third chapter of the trilogy dedicated to the irreverent feminine, the show brings to light the figure of Baubo, an ancient goddess linked to the Eleusinian Mysteries: a symbol of freedom, irony and vital force. With a provocative gesture and a liberating laugh, Baubo restores courage to Demeter, a mother desperate for the loss of her daughter Persephone, reminding her - and reminding us - of the regenerating power of the body, laughter and community.

An engaging and topical tale that, through myth, speaks of freedom, feminine energy and the right to joy.

Admission is free while places last.
