Emilia Romagna Castles

Starting from the Visitor Centre, together with the expert guide, we cycle along an inner stretch of the salt mine until we reach the Camillone Salt Mine, an ancient salt mine where salt is still harvested by hand using the tools and methods of the past. After discovering the secrets of the White Gold, we get on our bikes and ride along the new cycle path. Along the way we make a few stops to spot the different species living in this area of the Po Delta Park, and a short walk allows us to take in views of stretches of water and sky.

Aperitif menu:
Chopping board consisting of piadina produced by the Chiosco del Lago, prosciutto crudo (ham), local salami, sliced passito sausage, a tub of squacquerone cheese, and a few pieces of pecorino cheese.
Vegetarian version (to be announced when booking):
Piadina with spelt and extra-virgin olive oil produced by Chiosco del Lago, tub of giardiniera, fresh vegetables with salt and oil, a tub of squacquerone cheese, and a few pieces of pecorino cheese.

Alcoholic drink:
your choice of small or medium craft draught beer, 33cl Salinae Sweet Salt of Cervia beer, a glass of white or red wine, spritz, americano or gin and tonic.
Soft drink in a can:
coca cola, coke zero, fanta, sprite, fruit juice or water.
