Gnocchi, cod with potatoes, soups, stuffed piadina, fried doughnuts and even potato ice cream. At the Potato Festival and Gnocchi Festival, the absolute star is the Montescudo potato, a typical product cultivated for centuries on the hills of the area.

And if gnocchi and codfish are part of the tradition, it is above all the more unusual recipes that intrigue those who come to the festival: piadina with potato dough, soft, golden doughnuts prepared with potatoes, and the surprising potato ice cream, which over the years has become one of the festival's best-known specialities.

Alongside the food stands, there is also the historic Fiera del Perdono (Fair of Forgiveness), with agricultural producers, Sangiovese "Monte dello Scudo" wine, oil, honey, handmade terracotta and typical local products.

Live music, orchestras, markets and travelling shows accompany the evenings of the festival.
