A character from the traditional folk tales of Emilia, Mingone is known in other cultures as “Giufà”.
His ability to combine cunning, quick-wittedness, foolishness, ignorance and naivety makes Mingone a highly comical character, who embodies the contradictions of life in an “ancient” world, where social classes are strictly divided according to economic status.
