FRAZIONCINE is back again this summer – the festival that brings open-air cinema to the hamlets of Santarcangelo di Romagna, with four evenings dedicated to great animated films for the whole family.

The initiative is organised by the Fondazione Cultura Santarcangelo in collaboration with Cinéma du Désert, the charming solar-powered travelling cinema that brings the big screen to the most diverse locations around the world.

Four free screenings, in four different hamlets, to experience the magic of cinema under the stars together.

"Scirocco and the Kingdom of the Winds"
An animated adventure brimming with magic and imagination, set amongst fantastical worlds and filled with courage.

Wednesday 15 July – 9.00 pm
Canonica – Municipal Sports Ground
"Raya and the Last Dragon"
An exciting journey through ancient legends, friendship and team spirit in a kingdom in need of saving.

“Flow – A World to Save”
The multi-award-winning animated film and winner of the 2025 Oscar, an extraordinary adventure that explores the relationship between humankind and nature through evocative imagery and without dialogue.
