Meeting with young authors in Coriano

Giant monsters attacking Rimini and a ship heading towards the horizon, where the sea meets the sky. These are the worlds of two very different young authors, whom the Teatro CorTe in Coriano is hosting for two events dedicated to drawing and writing. They offer the chance to hear a story told by the person who imagined it and to discover what lies behind a comic or a novel even before leafing through it.

Tuesday 20 October – Niccolò Tonelli presents “Pacific Rimini”
Niccolò Tonelli is a comic artist, illustrator and graphic designer, born in the province of Rimini in 1990. He is also well known locally for the comic-drawing courses he runs for young people. At CorTe, he presents *Pacific Rimini*, his self-published series. It is a story set in Rimini itself, featuring giant monsters and work-study programmes, with inspiration drawn directly from Japanese manga. The second volume was released at Rimini Comix 2026.

Tuesday 24 November – Matilde Masi presents ‘Cuore blu’
‘Cuore blu’ is Matilde Masi’s debut novel, an adventure that invites the reader to set sail on a ship towards infinity, where the sea meets the sky and dreams become reality. The protagonist is a young pirate in search of treasure. Along the way, he encounters characters, islands and mythical creatures, with references to Eastern, Chinese and Japanese mythology. She also designed the cover herself.

Two stories born right here, with their sights set far afield.
