EVENT LINK
This festival was born out of a desire to restore an event that was a joyous event in our community, a feast to give thanks for the grape harvest and prepare it to be turned into wine.
Don't miss this opportunity to rediscover the ancient traditions and flavours of yesteryear: let the scent of excellent wine produced by fine wineries from all over Italy guide you through the streets of the village.
Local restaurateurs will prepare their culinary specialities.
You can sing characteristic folk songs, try out the ancient tradition of crushing grapes barefoot, admire ancient crafts and take part in the traditional procession in peasant clothes.
On Friday evening, music by the Margò 80s will be awaiting you, and on Saturday evening there will be DJ music.
There will be attractions for young and old, in a festival that aims to introduce everyone to ancient customs and habits.
During the weekend you can relive all this, with songs and dances from the folk repertoire, tasting of traditional dishes featuring grapes and autumn fruits, wines from the best wineries in the area, and reflections on what the future might hold for our food and wine.
It is also possible to visit the village's historic cellars, reopened for the occasion, rediscover the ancient trades of yesteryear and the wine production cycle with ancient tools, play old-fashioned games and stroll among the stalls.
