In San Mauro Pascoli, among the many nativity scenes created, like real small works of art, you can also admire the very original nativity scene in the shoe, to honor an important Sammaurese excellence, footwear.
The creators were three benefactors of the city: Mauro Rossi, Giuseppe Casadei, Giorgio Zicchetti. The nativity scene decorated and created by Bruno Rinaldi nativity scene was made inside a 2.5 meter long women's shoe and has an important monument in the background, the mausoleum of the Pascoli family which is located in the cemetery of San Mauro .
It is an elegant décolleté, granted by Gimmy Baldinini, owner of the homonymous shoe factory. The nativity scene was created, set up and decorated by the Bruno Rinaldi. It is possible to visit it on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10 to 12.30 and from 15 to 19 until January 6.
On the other days the external wooden door of the Gallery will remain open. so you can admire nativity.
In addition to the original setting, you can contemplate other nativity scenes made by Rosella Nicolini and Renato Montemaggi. Also on display are three paintings by Tiziana Buda of how San Mauro Pascoli was before the crossing of the front.
It is also possible to admire the nativity scenes with original subjects around the town: the hut with the roof of shells, the candy-shaped trunk, the female shoe carved from a wooden trunk and a nativity scene of Mrs. Rosella Nicolini wife of the Sammaurese painter Giuliano Buda aka "GiBuda" with characters made with maize leaves.
A reproduction of the Town Hall by Ricci Attilio will also be exhibited throughout the Christmas period.
In the seaside resort, just few steps from the beach, a magnificent nativity scene in the window.
