"Viva Riccione Jazz" is a series of three live concerts promoted by the Municipality of Riccione in collaboration with the Gaspare Tirincanti music association, the organiser of "Riccione Summer Jazz", a festival that has enlivened Riccione's summer for the past two years with high quality music and international guests.
The first event, scheduled for Easter Sunday (20 April, 6 p.m.) in Piazzale Ceccarini, will feature Sergio Cammariere Quintet in concert, a free admission event combining poetry and jazz sophistication.
"Viva Riccione Jazz" continues on 24 April with an exclusive event: in the historic Mater Admirabilis church, at 9 p.m., the young Brazilian pianist and composer Amaro Freitas - an internationally renowned talent, expected in Italy for only three dates (Venice, Turin and Riccione) - will give the public a unique musical experience (free admission), "Piano solo Y'Y".
The third date is set for 27 April (9 p.m.) under the evocative pyramid of Cocoricò, which has recently become, thanks to Riccione Teatro, the privileged stage for the city's cultural proposals. This is where Enrico Rava will perform in a quintet in "Fearless Five", an authentic icon of Italian and international jazz (entrance fee).
