"Anna Magnani - a story of love and freedom"
will be on stage from 4 to 25 May 2025 at the Teatro Leo Amici Lago di Monte Colombo (RN) every Sunday at 4.30 p.m., produced by the Dare Association and promoted by the Leo Amici Foundation with the artists of the RDL company, starring Annamaria Bianchini.
Carlo Tedeschi is the director of a show, written by Simona Andrioli and performed by the Compagnia RDL, freely inspired by the life of the well-known actress who gave so much to Italian cinema and who in 1956 won an Oscar with "La rosa tatuata" (she was the first non-English speaking actress to receive the award), a sensational performer in "Roma Città Aperta"
and 'Bellissima', a highly acclaimed theatre actress who also won a Golden Globe.
Also on stage were the RDL dance troupe and Francesco Troilo di Carlo as Gigi. The show premiered in October 2024 to resounding acclaim and returns by popular demand to the Leo Amici Theatre programme.
