The Jazz al MET festival returns to Santarcangelo, three summer evenings dedicated to jazz music and young talents from the conservatories and music schools in our area, promoted by the Pro Loco of Santarcangelo.

On 24 July, the festival will be inaugurated by the Santarcangelo Big Band of the "G. Faini" Municipal School, conducted by Maestro Roberto Siroli, with a swing repertoire ranging from Gershwin to Duke Ellington and modern standards. This will be followed by a concert by the Maderna Lettimi Jazz Quintet of the Cesena Conservatory, with the voice of Maria Pia Gobbi and Lorenzo Rocculi on trombone, who will take us on a musical journey from Broadway to 52nd Street, to the Bossa Nova of Rio.

On 31 July Mariana Pagano's voice will be the protagonist, accompanied by the alto sax of Raffaele Balestri and the Maderna Lettimi Jazz Quintet. On the programme will be elegant melodies, engaging swing and Latin American and Afro-Cuban rhythms, for an evening full of suggestions.

On 2 August, the Rossini Jazz Quartet of the Pesaro Conservatory, coordinated by Maestro Massimiliano Rocchetta, closes the festival. On stage, the voice of Azzurra Binda accompanied by piano, bass and drums in a repertoire spanning the 20th century to the present day, from Monk to Gershwin, Billie Holiday, Stevie Wonder and other soul and popular classics.

Three unmissable appointments to experience the emotion of jazz under the stars of the MET.
