Where it is

Vernasca is located in the upper Val d’Arda a few kilometers from the villages of Castell’arquato and Vigoleno.

Why visit it

The town deserves a visit for its historical testimonies, as well as for the splendid view it offers of the Apennine landscape, dotted here and there with vineyards. The area is crossed by the routes of the "Strada dei Vini e dei Sapori dei Colli Piacentini" (Trail of wines and flavors of the Piacenza hills) and the "Via Francigena".
