The Fortress is well preserved and in it can be identified the keep, that is the large main tower with its two original accesses, the loopholes in the foot for the shooting low, the double doors
where the drawbridges were active. Inside, in the second sector of the keep, the traces of an imposing fireplace coeval to the construction and the whole system of toilets in niche are clearly
visible. The internal rooms house the Museum of Stories of Pieve which, through finds and video interviews, tells the millennial events of the city of Pieve di Cento.
