The final day of the 'Austen Meeting' will take place on Sunday 21 September, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., in the intimate and cosy space of the park of Villa Lodi Fé, at the back of the villa, transformed into the 'Austen English Garden', where visitors will be welcomed among books, words, creativity and delicious tastings, in an atmosphere reminiscent of the Austen lifestyle.

The programme opens at 11 a.m. with the presentation of the book "I Mondi di Jane Austen" (The Worlds of Jane Austen) edited by Diego Saglia, a valuable opportunity to explore the cultural and social universe in which the famous English writer lived.

At 12 noon, space will be given to rhythm and elegance with "Danze e Contraddanze" (Dances and Contradances): the Club's dancers, led by Maestro Paolo Di Segni, will give life to a performance-lesson that will revive the enchantment of Regency dances. Even those who do not actively participate will be able to be enchanted and perhaps choose to join in the next dance occasions.

At 1 p.m. we will continue with the traditional 'Austen Meeting' photo, the collective shot that will recall the days spent together, posing as in period films.

In the afternoon, at 4 p.m., Cesare Catà will accompany the audience in an exciting lecture-performance entitled "Sentire e Palpitare. Between Shakespeare & Jane Austen", a journey between two literary giants that promises emotion and involvement.

To close the day, at 5.30 p.m., a refined sensory experience: the guided tasting of the (cold) tea ritual, proposed by Carlotta Mariani of Five O'Clock Tea together with the bartender Charles. A not-to-be-missed appointment for tea lovers, with free admission (booking required subject to availability).
