About Villa Pallavicino
Surrounded by a square fishpond and preceded by a 17th-century tripartite entrance pavilion designed by the architect Domenico Valmagini, stands the magnificent Villa Pallavicino, formerly known as “Boffalora” and popularly called the Palace of the Marquises.
Conceived as a summer residence, construction began in the second decade of the 16th century with a five-module checkerboard plan. It was later extended and modified several times until the 19th century.
