"I AM A WOMAN. No more and no less" is a gallery of portraits taken in Palestine by Andrea and Magda photographers as part of an international cooperation project of the Rimini-based NGO EducAid, active in the field of education and respect for human rights in southern countries, with particular reference to the rights of the most vulnerable groups and minorities.
Through a language far from paternalistic and welfarist tones, the exhibition aims at affirming the rights of people with disabilities and their potential beyond stereotypes and prejudices, in a context, the Palestinian one, where this condition is strongly stigmatised, both in the family and in the social sphere.
The images on display tell with irony, strength and luminosity stories of redemption of women with disabilities who, thanks to study, work and a lot of commitment, have achieved their path to autonomy and self-determination.
