On Thursday 24 April at 9 p.m., in the Mater Admirabilis church (viale Gramsci, 39), Amaro Freitas' concert event will be a tribute in music to the earth, water, and the spirituality of nature.
In his latest album 'Y'Y', which he will present in Riccione, the young Brazilian pianist, a rising star of world jazz, has created a work inspired by natural elements and indigenous culture, exploring the relationship between man and the environment through sound.
Riccione's historic church, with its intimate and cosy atmosphere and its location just a few steps from the sea, will become a temple of sound in which Freitas' music will echo like a song of devotion to the beauty of the planet. The choice of concert location, in the Mater Admirabilis church, will also add a profound spiritual value to the event. The sacredness of the space, with its silence, will in fact offer an ideal context to welcome Freitas' music, which becomes a secular prayer and sound meditation.
The Riccione concert takes on even greater importance if one considers that Freitas will only hold three dates in Italy: at La Fenice in Venice, at the Turin jazz festival and, precisely, in Riccione, which is thus confirmed as a reference point on the international jazz scene.
