Institutional ceremony promoted by the Municipality of Riccione in collaboration with ANPI Riccione

25 April, the national Liberation Day, is the focus of the official ceremony promoted by the Municipality of Riccione in collaboration with ANPI.

The event opens at 9.30 a.m. with the gathering of the authorities at the municipal residence and continues in solemn form with a procession through the city's places of memory. The route includes the laying of a laurel wreath at the War Memorial (Viale Vittorio Emanuele II), accompanied by the Mondaino Band, and a second at the statue dedicated to Salvo D'Acquisto, a symbol of courage and sacrifice.

The procession will then reach Piazza Matteotti, an emblematic place of civil memory, to end in the Garden of the Ceccarini Preschool, a choice that underlines the value of transmitting memory to the new generations. Institutional speeches will be held here, accompanied by musical moments and readings by Riccione school students, who will give voice to the values of the Liberation through words and testimonies.

The itinerary will also be enriched by a visual cartography of memory: a poster art project curated by the artists Inserire Floppino and Andrea Mantani, in collaboration with Riccione Teatro, which restores an urban landscape dedicated to the Resistance and collective memory through images and archive fragments.
