The Bread Butter and Puppets festival makes a stop in Riccione to the delight of all children.
It begins on Friday 27 June in the Fontanelle neighbourhood, in Via Sicilia, with Veronica Gonzales and the foot puppet show entitled "C'era due volte un piede" (There was twice a foot).
On Wednesday 16 July, the festival moves to Piazza Matteotti, in the heart of Riccione Paese, with Vladimiro Strinati's glove puppet show "Due Burattini e un bebè" (Two Puppets and a Baby). Breaking the harmony of the tried and tested comedy duo Fagiolino e Sganapino is the unexpected arrival of a baby.
Thursday 24 July in the square of Spontricciolo (viale Saluzzo 7/1) is the turn of the Combriccola dei Lillipuziani and the magic show "Il giro del Mago in 80 mondi".
On Thursday 7 August, at the Meridiana of the Castello degli Agolanti, comes 'Tomate en la strada', the clownery and balloon show by Tomate Clown.
On Sunday 10 August, in Piazza San Lorenzo, the Teatrino dello sguardo's "Il cagnolino che va a nozze" ("The little dog that goes to the wedding") is staged, a figure show with muppets inspired by a popular fairy tale, reworked with imagination, memory and personal interpretations.
On Wednesday 20 August, in the Abissinia district (viale San Martino), the 2025 edition of "Pane, Burro e Burattini" closes with the glove puppet show "Fagiolino e l'acqua miracolosa", staged by the I Burattini di Mattia company.

The shows start at 9.30 pm and admission is free.
